Rivers of Recovery

     Beginning in 2008, the Stanislaus Fly Fishers adopted Rivers of Recovery as its primary community outreach program. Rivers of Recovery specializes in the rehabilitation of combat veterans suffering with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), minor Traumatic Brain Injury (mTBI), stress, anxiety and depression.

     Every year since 2008 we have helped sponsor The Fly Fishing Film Tour at The State Theater in Modesto, CA as a fundraising event for Rivers of Recovery. Proceeds from the event are used to underwrite all-inclusive fly fishing trips for local qualifying veterans.The trips include transportation, lodging, food, equipment, and driftboat guides.
